Hard part is finding one. Most are geared for 2,4, or 6 cylinders and sense RPMs from an elctrical pickup that you clip to the plug wire. Some let you select between 2 and 4 cylinders. I haven't seen one specifically made for a thumper. So the problem is that if it senses RPMs based on a 4-stroke, 2 cylinder bike, it is going to read twice as many RPMs as a thumper is actually generating (because it will count 2 for every time the plug fires....). I guess the real question on a 4 stroke thumper is: are RPMs only counting the power strokes or do they count the intake stroke as well???? If the latter is the case, then it shouldn't be too hard to find....
